We are currently working on our tropical rain forest display. Throughout the week the kids worked on cutting out the tree trunk, bushy leaves and vines. They also made hand print sloths and worked as a team to make a large snake out of interlocking paper rectangles. You will see these in next weeks pictures when our rain forest is complete!
Was there ever a lot of pollen this week! We definitely are not used to having to wipe pollen off our clothes. Even though it tickles our noses, it sure is a lot of fun to squeeze off the trees!
What better way to enjoy the nice weather than by going on a Nose Hill adventure and having a picnic! I believe this was the farthest we have ever gone, 5km! I was quite impressed! The farther we went the more new paths, large rocks, plants and insects we came across. We could see all of downtown! That was very exciting. I was told to take so many pictures! Next up.....hiking across the top part of NoseHill!
