What a rainy week it has been! Even if we couldn’t go play at the park, we still made the most of it and went puddle jumping. For multiple days everyone was wet from head to toe!
Believe it or not, we had just one day of nice weather so we took advantage of that and went on a park adventure and had a picnic.
We started our theme on farm animals this week. The kids brainstormed all of the animals they could think of that lived on a farm like pigs, cows and horses, and less normally thought of to be farm animals such as barn owls and mice. We had plenty of fun pretending to be farm animals and dancing/making noises to our farm animal songs. We worked together to figure out how we would make a life-size paper barn, glued the pieces together and though about how we would begin filling it with animals. We even decorated it with horseshoes for good luck!
