Happy Earth Day! What have you done to help the Earth? We talked about what Earth Day is and brainstormed things we knew where bad for the Earth and what things were good for it. As a team everyone painted an Earth and made things they knew where good and bad for the Earth. We also baked Earth Day sugar cookies…mmm.
Our letters this week were V and W. The kids added words to our word board that they found in books they read. Good job guys!
We have been practicing two and three letter words recently. Many of these words they do a great job sounding out to figure out what they say.
We learned more about primary and secondary colours this week. We even touched on warm and cool colours.
We celebrated a very special 4th birthday this week too. Everyone is getting so big now!
We had many adventures, played in many puddles and built a snowball obstacle course this week! We went to the ravine and the school playgrounds. Our Friday adventure to a less wet place turned into us tracking farther than expected because our original destination was under water!
