Happy Mother’s Day to all the women out there! The kids have been working really hard on their Mother’s Day crafts for the special mom’s in their lives. When asked what makes them love their mom so much, the responses were so sweet and some were even little bit funny. Oh kids! I hope all the moms have the most wonderful weekend with their little ones!
We also continued our celebration of Cinco de Mayo this week by making brightly coloured paper flowers and with the completion of our paper mache maracas. Everyone did a great job waiting patiently during drying days and working as a team to make them.
This week we moved our focus from letters to numbers. We practiced writing numbers on the board, identifying attributes that are special to the numbers one through five, representing numbers and doing basic addition. The group this year have all been doing really well identifying, writing and/or adding numbers together.
